Born in Japan, Masami Sato, founder of Buy-1-Give-1 takes a completely new look at the power of connection and business giving to create a world that’s full of giving. Her method for voyaging was about uniting with individuals to pick up experiences and understandings of diverse societies, ways of life and environment. B1G1 now works with more than 500 businesses in over 14 countries and lists over 600 projects in 29 countries.
In the previous 16 years, she has lived in Canada, Guatemala, New Zealand, Australia and Singapore and headed out to more than 30 nations in 5 mainlands. Though originally educated to become an architect in Japan, her profession has tailed her differing ability and broad hobbies having been an educator, an interpreter, an ambitious person and a characteristic sustenance culinary expert (and an agriculturist!). Since 2001, she has helped to establish and run business undertakings expecting to change the way organizations are worked today. She is likewise a writer of two books, ‘Delight – The endowment of acknowledgement, trust and adoration’ and ‘ONE – Sharing the delight of giving’.

Masami Sato’s fondest food memories
When she was younger, she was the smallest eater and her mom was having difficulty feeding her. When she got older, she studied to cook by herself and at that time she started to finally really enjoy eating food because she could choose what she wanted to prepare and cook. She’s fond of nourishing and taking care of preparing foods rather than you are given something.
